Paragon Avish the Exile
What the elf should have been
Contents
Early Life
After his successful departure from the castle blackstone, Paragon Avish had to deal with his "master". Having trained and learned all he needed from the old human man, Paragon Avish betrayed him, by revealing his secret as a former ninja. Avish's reasoning was in part because his master refused to steal back the great katana and gift it to the elf. Avish thought this was greed and pride clouding the man's mind and so offered him up to a mob. This was done in exchange for his safety at the Sadirac farm, where he would be employed as security. After this had occupied his interest for a time he was ready to move on. He had the family pay for his education in several areas that would benefit himself later in life and again no longer needed his humans and so left their service.
Description
Paragon Avish possessed a strong frame and nimble body. His body posture was telling of his dedication to his martial arts and ninja secrets. Rarely backing down from a challenge, Paragon Avish is covered in scars. His face and body have been mammed, cut and repaired many times over. Avish wears golden elven chain mail and carries his katana on his person at all times. His gear is piecemeal, being comprised of items taken from Imanos, Red Leaf, and some old man called Astagard who was forced to give up his possessions in exchange for his rescue.
Personality
Paragon Avish, always wears a smile and meets new people with interest and charm. His training in etiquette was always a crutch he leaned on and so often it made meeting the elf seem contrived or forced. Having a good sense of humor but with little rationale for his motives made Paragon Avish difficult to deal with. Not a complicated person, Avish tends towards lavish uses of wealth. Always generous with the money he has taken from others, Avish was inclined to eat and drink with little regard of cost or expense. His perhaps most complex trait is his polytheism, which makes his random assertion of values and morals whimsical. Avish cares little for the value of demihuman life, not out of evil but indifference. His belief is that by killing someone here you are helping them shed the shell of this thinly veiled existence.
Adventures
Rape, Theft, and Murder
Paragon Avish came under the protection of the Lord Paragon Demetrius and thus was made general and spymaster. His first charge was to settle land disputes with the local hill tribes. Avish sent an envoy that was promptly rebuffed and so went himself. He spoke with the tribe chiefs, making them one offer, their lives in exchange for service to his dwarven Lord. The humans promptly rejected this, attempting to jail the elf. This however was less than successful. With the boots of springing and striding taken from the dead man found in the mirror, Avish quickly escaped. To teach them a lesson he quickly captured their wives and daughters. Then he set out to steal anything of value they had gathered. This proved challenging for two reasons. The first, was that these dull and uneducated humans had no real organization and the second was that they were all willing to die for their petty treasures. Avish took the women back to Demetria for his Lord and then returned with his mercenaries. Over several weeks the ambushed and killed all the chiefs, successfully subduing the hill tribes and bringing them under Demetrius' control.
