Geography

A noble estate in the Eskenus district of Hathbell in autumn.

Topography

Hathbell is surrounded by walls built in the ancient days when the city was inhabited by elves. The wall is roughly 15 feet tall and is equipped with battlements. The wall blends in most places with the natural foliage of the area. There are several small forests that dot the inner landscape of the city. These small copses are fed by numerous creeks and streams that twist through the city.

Climate

A prime example of the typical Kanosian climate, Hathbell can receive from 15-20 feet of snow in the heart of winter and will reach high temperatures in excess of 100+ degrees in mid summer. In the early Autumn and early spring there are frequent rains. During the summer there are frequent thunderstorms sent by the god Stromnaus.
