Previous Adventures
...The defeat of the vampire Nalveau and the accompanying horrific death of the party warrior-mage Hasten Halverstein left the Silver Swords exhausted, and so they turned from the forest of Verbrek to the small city of Karina, in the domain of Invidia. There they stayed to rest under the roof of L'Eglise de Notre Peindre Dame, ministered by the Warden Keith de Lalune. De Lalune was a begrudging host, and subtly taunted Auril Braștov about the weakness of the Church of Ezra in Invidia, and how it was useless to proactively fight against so many evils, and that they would be better to return of Levkarest in Borca and protect the Home Faith. As the Order recovered, de Lalune's taunts and manipulations became more effective, and Braștov began to plan on how best to show the virtues of the Church of Ezra to the Invidians. De Lalune guided Braștov to consider probing the evils of the Dreadwood, located in the center of the domain. It was said that high elves still dwelt there, but were held under the rule of the undead elf princess that once ruled there. Braștov commanded his brethren to prepare, and so they learned what they could of this strange domain, and learned the story of Lesayanne Celemayne.
