Ninja
DRAFT RULES PROPOSAL
Ninjas are the invisible warriors; spies and assassins practiced in the skills of concealment, stealth, trickery, disguise, acrobatics, and assassination. They possess a number of special powers and use many unique devices. Their abilities and reputations are clouded in mystery. Many ascribe supernatural powers to them. The ninjas have done nothing to discourage these stories and may very well spread the tales themselves, and indeed, some of these tales may be true. Such confusion only enhances their reputations, inspiring more terror at the mere mention of their name.

Dexterity (prime requisite): 13
Intelligence: 10
Wisdom: 8
Alignment: Ninja clans may vary on axis of good and evil, but all are lawful or neutral with regards to law.
Races Allowed: human, (others, pending DM permission)
Ninja Rogue Skills
Disguise
If a ninja gains 100% or more proficiency with this skill, he will fail only on a roll of 100.
Falling
Ninja can fall a certain distance, dependent upon level, without taking damage. To do so, the ninja must be considered "unencumbered". He must be falling where he can reach a vertical surface that can slow his fall. If the ninja falls this distance or less, he manages to avoid taking any damage by tumbling and rolling. If he falls further than the stated distance, he suffers full normal damage.
Hide in Shadows
If a ninja gains 100% or more proficiency with this skill, he will fail only on a roll of 100.
Move Silently
If a ninja gains 100% or more proficiency with this skill, he will fail only on a roll of 100.

At ninjas advance in level, they necessarily accrue ki powers and abilities that are strictly associated with the ninja sub-class. These slots may only be assigned to the ninja category of their powers and abilities.

Running (Ninja)
- 1st Tier Ninja Power
- Principal Method: Movement (ninja only)
- Prerequisite: running proficiency
- 1st Degree: By controlling his breath, the ninja can run 50 miles non-stop, and if he spends 15 minutes of every hour walking, he can run 100 miles non-stop (or the demi-human equivalent). The base run rate increases to 15, or the demi-human equivalent.
