Neil's version of a Wiki entry for 'The Aqueduct'
"The foresight of Yalthos manifested in the construction of a massive aqueduct, which rose many hundreds of feet into the misty skies north of Blackstone. Erected through the craft of the Taldians and the servile labor of their thralls, the enormous vaulted columns were by some skillful subtlety of the ninja hidden from the eyes of men, so that even if the secluded valleys through which it ran were discovered, the stones were still nearly indistinguishable from the rocks, even as the megalithic structure loomed almost to the peaks of the surrounding mounts.
For miles the stone tunnel spanned, cutting through some of the very hardest of living rock, until at last the aqueduct reached into a hidden lake high in the dark mountains of the Nahavd. From this aperture, the sweet, pure, and cold water of melted ice and snow flowed without pause to supply the soldiers of Taldia, and so hidden and remote was the lake that no army could ever hope to destroy its aqueduct or foul its waters.
But the Taldian ninjai were not content to use the aqueduct purely for the waters of Lake Pericore, which men call Arda, and they conducted mysterious rites in and through the tunnel of dark stone. It is said that hidden shrines were built on the banks of the secluded tarn at the very end of tunnel, and we must wonder at the rumor that a ninja, or perhaps something far more powerful, might have survived the Kanosian purge, and remains sequestered to this day on the remote banks of that mountain lake."
