Father
King Kasternol of Kalakran
Description
Banneon is the son of a noble Dwarden King of a lineage that predates the Order of the Beleaguered Shield. He is strong and capable just as his forefathers were and it is evident in his size and stature. He stands at an impressive 6'3", making most men look small in comparison. He has short flowing blond hair and deep blue eyes and he exudes a calm, commanding demeanor.
Background
In his younger years his father had him trained in the ways of warfare and he excelled even surpassing expectations. As the son of a King, the Order took notice of him and encouraged testing his candidacy for Paladinhood. The young Banneon showed promise in the tests, but was found to be inadequate and was not admitted to training.
Personality
Banneon is the first-born son of King Kasternol of Kalakran. Even with his royal upbringing, Banneon is a modest man who favors bravery in battle over lofty castles and expensive jewelry. Banneon is a holy man and believes in the causes and declarations of the Order of the Beleaguered Shield. He knows that the only way to overcome the detestable evils plaguing his homelands is through Mandador. He regularly devotes himself in prayer petitioning Mandador to free Dwarden from the scourge of the undead.
Items/Possessions
Adornments
- Fur Coat
- A wolf fur coat that Banneon had made from a wolf that tried to kill him in his sleep.
- Tunic
- A gray colored cotton covering. A little more costly than a normal tunic because of the extra material required to fit Banneon.
- Breeches
- A matching gray set of cotton leg coverings.
- Leather Boots
- Leather wrappings sewed with rabbit fur interior for comfort, bound around the feet with leather straps and buckles.
- Pouches
- Well-made leather pouches with simple iron buckles to keep them well sealed. Banneon uses these to carry things on his waist. They are less cumbersome than a pack in combat.
- Silver Necklace
- A simple silver chain to adorn the neck, given to him by his mother as a gift. He doesn't prefer jewelry, and rarely wears it, but keeps it to remember her.
Weapons
- Two-Handed Sword
- This large iron sword is noticeably thicker and heavier than the standard size long sword, useful for taking on large foes. Despite this, it is particularly well balanced.
- Footman's Flail
- A heavy, spiked iron ball attached with a simple iron chain to leather wrapped wooden handle. Surprisingly effective at crushing skulls of undead.
- Throwing Axe
- A light-weight axe useful for throwing at close range.
- Medium Shield
- Standard size wedge shaped shield with the trefoil of the Order painted on the front.

- Splint Mail
- Medium Shield
