Balathar Darlantan was a half-elven merchant, adventurer, warrior-thief and, later, politician serving as Baron and then co-Baron of Dantareth with Cyrus Glenwill. Throughout his life Darlantan gained fame as one of the members of the Gondolas, an ascendant adventuring party who were also referred to as mercenaries during the latter portion of the 8th century A.M.
