<tr><td colspan="2"> </td><td class='diff-marker'>+</td><td style="color:black; font-size: 88%; border-style: solid; border-width: 1px 1px 1px 4px; border-radius: 0.33em; border-color: #a3d3ff; vertical-align: top; white-space: pre-wrap;"><div><ins class="diffchange diffchange-inline">The Iron Shield is just that, made of what appears to be a silvery iron.  Nine layers of inseparable metal form a large kite shield (category: medium shield), but the outer circumference is sealed with a heavy iron lip, which is hammered in with thick iron bolts.  To the rear, two iron grips are fastened with three great iron bolts per point of contact, still wrapped with robust leather just as fresh as when it was first made.  The front of the shield is embossed with the subdued Trefoil of Dwarden, with a dull gold and silver halo for the Spirit and Voice respectively, but with a superimposed iron halo for the Power of Mandador.  No words or other markings beside the trefoil are known upon the shield.</ins></div></td></tr>
