The Kargal Oath

"By the Power of Most-Mighty Mandador, and the Voice and the Spirit, and by the will of Yathamian and all the saints of Dwarden, I swear unending war against the Black Crown of Kernej, war against all his knights and priests and all their servants of evil. I swear unending hatred for his blasphemous cult, and unending hatred for the Abomination, and will suffer none who follow him, nor believe him, nor serve him in any way, in my lands, amongst my kin or amongst my friends, upon pain of death and damnation. I swear unending allegiance to the Master-General, to his Seneschel, to the Masters of Horse and Foot, and to all Masters and Commanders appointed over me, and will serve them as I would serve my father, loyally, with unyielding faithfulness, into any peril, unto the death. I swear obedience to the Rule of St. Karant, and will live a holy life, so that Mandador may bless my worthy cause with righteous power and victory, and so that He may keep the poison of evil from staining my soul. To this holy war I pledge my faith, my honor, my body, my woman and my kin and all my kalnistry, and all their lands and beasts, their men-at-arms and servants, their wizards and treasures, and all that I and my children will keep and own, rule and till, to the end of time, until the evil of this land be cleansed and destroyed forever. In St. Yathamian's name I swear this by my own blood, now and forever."
